Who we are?

Sivananda Yogalife was founded in 2010 in New Delhi by the Director Smita Agrawal, in order to support and foster the sense of mindfulness and peace in the surrounding community. We offer a variety of approaches to achieve and maintain optimal health. Whether you are experiencing pain or simply want to improve your physical and mental wellbeing, we provide a healing and friendly environment to do so.

Sivananda Yogalife is located in the heart of Delhi. Every student receives personalized attention. We have regular everyday yoga classes and workshops. We are a group of four teachers.

The founder and director of the yoga studio is a postgraduate in mathematics and UGC-CSIR qualified. She has worked as a lecturer in mathematics for more than 10 years before she started teaching yoga. She did the international yoga teachers training course from the Sivananda ashram, Neyyar dam, Kerala. She believes that Yoga is a never ending awakening of deeper and deeper levels of personal potential in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual realms. She emphasizes on deep breathing as a very important part of the practice. Smita has profound inclination towards Arm Balancing postures and she believes in hard work and to give her best to bring the benefits of yoga to the students in minimal time period.

He did the Yoga Teacher’s Training course from Neyyar Dam, Kerala in March 2016. He is an Ayush certified yoga teacher. An IT consultant by profession and a yoga enthusiast ,he is an advanced practitioner of yoga.

He is a Lawyer by profession and has been teaching Yoga for 30 years. He did the Teachers training course and Advanced teachers training course from Neyyar Dam, Kerala. He has a vast knowledge of therapeutic yoga and is passionate to teach the therapy yoga classes and advanced yoga classes.
