Sivananda Yogalife was founded in 2010 in New Delhi by the Director Smita Agrawal, in order to support and foster a sense of mindfulness and peace
in the surrounding community. We offer a variety of approaches to achieve and maintain optimal health.

Sivananda Yogalife is located in the heart of Delhi. Every student receives personalized attention. We have regular everyday yoga classes and workshops.

Smita Agrawal
The founder and director of the yoga studio is a postgraduate in mathematics and UGC-CSIR qualified. She worked as a lecturer in mathematics
for more than 10 years before she started teaching yoga. She did the international yoga teachers training course from the Sivananda Ashram, Neyyar Dam, Kerala.
She believes that yoga is a never-ending awakening of deeper and deeper levels of personal potential in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual realms.
She emphasizes on deep breathing as a very important part of the practice. Smita has a profound inclination towards
Arm Balancing postures and she believes in hard work and in giving her best to bring the benefits of yoga to the students in the shortest time.

Shyamalima Baruah
She is a graduate in English from Delhi University and an internationally certified yoga teacher. She has worked as a business development manager for many years before she started teaching yoga full time. She has a strong practice of advanced yoga asanas.
Bina Srivastava
She is an agriculturist and did the teachers training course from Neyyar Dam, Kerala. She has been teaching since 2017. She is passionate about the flexibility asanas and believes in complete surrender to the Gurus.
Amit Saha
He is a lawyer by profession and has been teaching yoga for 30 years. He did the teachers training course and advanced teachers training course from Neyyar Dam, Kerala. He has a vast knowledge of therapeutic yoga and is passionate about teaching therapy yoga classes and advanced yoga classes.
